I've been wanting to do more traditional art, so it felt appropriate to have the first print of the year be a gouache painting
I also recently moved next to the forest and it has been super inspiring to see all the little critters out there. When i painted this it was still very much fall outside, but it has since then snowed and it looks as magical as I imagined when I painted this deer
