Back in 2023 I took a shot at redesigning one of my first "made for RP" characters from high school. Honestly with the color scheme and theming around the character he works a lot better now as a cryptid than a generic fantasy wolf XD

Bealleigh, The Star Devil
Species: Cryptid (Wolf?)
Age equivalent: Unknowably old
Gender: Male
Attraction: Ace, though legends say he has a romantic partner that helps him traverse through the endless ages. Unlikely to form any new connections as his very presence evokes a deep sense of uncanny valley and danger.
Traits/skills
Physical potential: Effectively immortal, no injury seems to be able to keep him disabled for long. Completely unable to eat, sleep, or drink, and only thinking to take a breath when the air is needed to create a vocalization.
Mental potential: Perhaps at one time he was a normal being, but his mind has long since given in to his alien contemplations. Said to hear the voices of the stars, who watch over him and give him guidance.
Magical potential: Whether the wants to or not, Bealleigh is constantly emitting an aura of health and vitality. In small doses this can be a great blessing; staving off the effects of disease, injury, and even age. With too much exposure, however any in his vicinity will start to become deathly ill with a mysterious ailment known only as “the star’s curse”; leading to death by starvation, dehydration, suffocation, or extreme insomnia depending on how it manifests. He is capable of intensifying his natural healing aura through his forelimbs, but doing so also quickens the danger of the curse.

Bealleigh’s origin in shrouded in mystery. Some say he was a misguided envoy sent from the heavens themselves to heal the suffering. Some believe they were once a normal wolf who made a wish to a creature from beyond the stars to save the people of his land from a terrible disease. Wherever he came from he is a rare sight and essentially impossible to track down on purpose. Despite being mentally detached from the world, he is benign in personality, constantly on the move to try to prevent his curse from taking hold on any locals. Whenever he has been seen it has almost always been among the most vulnerable or forgotten members of society.
