TW: Sex Trafficking mention
This assignment was done for my digital drawing final. We were to design multiple sculptures and I chose to base mine off of Hathor, Bastet, Taweret, and the college mascot (the husky). The idea was to replace the emergency call boxes with larger, more visible figures designed to invoke a sense of feeling protected and watched over.
The town I lived in was a hot spot for sex trafficking and the campus wasn't very well lit at night so I wanted these statues to be beacons of light and safety.
