Call me curious, but if they (dunno the proper pronouns, sorry) have to wind themselves up... how do they do it?
Or... is that necessary?
If it is, do they enter stasis until wound again?
by stasis, like, they turn off but don't die, so to speak. Edited to clear up any accidental confusion.
And, like, if they're wound too tight, do they get really hyperactive?

I never took time to ask despite having these questions all along, I just figured I prolly shouldn't in case they were answered, but curiosity got the better of me.

she/her, can not wind herself up, requires the help of others, it is like stasis yah, and being wound too tight does not cause hyperactiveness, it just strains and skips the gears/springs, causing wear and not fun feelings.
