Okay. So here’s the plan:
I leave the circle when the guards aren’t looking. Ivy will then tell them to chase after me. I will make sure to turn left and right as erratically as possible. Hopefully, I should lose them. Any questions?
Oh yeah, the part where Ivy calls out.
Well, that’s part of the plan so she doesn’t look suspicious.
Should this work, I’ll be back with the Lightbringers in a few minutes. And I’ll have successfully fooled the Darkscars.
So the guards were looking away, and I made a run for it. When I stepped out of the circle, I felt the same urge to go back in again, only this time, I decided NOT to go back in, against (sort of) my own wishes.
“GET HIM!” Ivy shouted at the top of her lungs. About four wolves started chasing after me, and I ran as fast as a fully grown wolf is capable of. The wolves chasing me didn’t give up, but were REALLY lagging behind. It’s possible they were just pretending to be tired so I would go slower, so I wasn’t taking any chances.
I saw 9 wolves ahead of me. They had white fur with golden irises. Yes! I made it! And there was no sign of the pursuers!
“They thought they could get information from me. THEY FAILED!” I panted. Solar was surprised to see me. “Where. In. Heaven. HAVE YOU BEEN!?” He said. “I was just held captive by Darkscars. And I have some info on them that may be useful.” I replied. “We would love to hear it, but we’re being attacked!” Solar said in panic.
Eventful chapter, and the next one even more so.
