• Biography: Nora Mortimer is the wife of Mattias Mortimer, and a member of the evil Supreme Forces. She serves as the Supreme Margravine, ranking below the Supreme Princesses & Supreme Prince. Nora was once a member of the Kirin Tor, being a well-respected mage in the organization, but she had the power of an Archmage, which made her rival the power of Jaina Proudmoore herself. Aside from this, Nora was a staunch supporter of the Brotherhood of Northshire Abbey and expressed interest in developing a line of mages that use the light in addition to arcane power. On one visit, Nora met Mattias Mortimer, an Archbishop, and the two proceeded to fall in love with each other as they shared similar interests & goals. The two wed and lived a happy married life together for 6 years. But one day, Nora was afflicted with an incurable disease that left her bedridden. Mattias left Nora crystalized in cryostasis to keep her stable until he could find a cure for his wife, but his search was fruitless. The light was not able to fully answer Mattias’s prayers, and the Kirin Tor was not able to act. Even so, Mattias never gave up and kept searching. Though he eventually came back home one day to find Nora out of stasis, but not by choice. Her crystal was destroyed by the Scarlet Crusade who believed Nora was an undead who deserved to be vanquished. Mattias murdered the crusaders, though Nora had awoken long enough to see what Mattias had done. Incidentally, Nora realized that the Kirin Tor never came to assist her husband in his time of need, or her time of need for that matter. The very moment Wolfgang, now known as the Supreme Archduke, came & was able to remedy Nora of her ailment permanently, she abandoned the Kirin Tor and joined her husband in the ranks of the Supreme Forces as its Dark Witch, becoming the Supreme Margravine. She now works with the Supreme Queen to assist her in her goals of multiversal domination and has not looked back ever since. In the past, Nora Mortimer was once a kind & considerate woman, but after she felt betrayed by the mages of the Kirin Tor, she has since turned into a ruthless, merciless woman who is so lustful & manipulative, she has no shame to speak of whatsoever. Nora enjoys partaking in witchcraft, but she despises the ½ Mermaid Clan just like just about everyone else in the Supreme Forces. However, she seems to detest the Kirin Tor more so. Crafts the evilest hexes.
• Abilities: Nora Mortimer, like her husband, is a magically orientated fighter, but she has the better magical might than Mattias does. Fittingly, Nora dubs herself a Dark Witch, meaning she has greater potency over dark & black magic than a normal witch does. In addition, the hexes & curses she is able to conjure are far more potent than usual. Sometimes, they also prove fatal. In addition to dark & black magic, Nora also wields Necromancy, Blood Magic, Nightmare Magic, and Decay. Weapon wise, Nora usually wields a staff, but like Ammut her superior, also wields a scythe. Her weapons & magics are as follows.
o Black Flame Staff: A staff imbued with the power of wicked black flames. It makes for a decent whacking weapon, but the flames are used more often to inflict burns on enemies.
o Saronite Scythe: A wickedly sharp scythe forged from Saronite. This is Nora’s main means of dealing out physical damage and she has amazingly great aim with it as well.
o Witchcraft: Nora has knowledge of witchcraft in a great number of its many forms. She is able to form hexes & curses with ease, along with making potions that benefit her evil allies, but are pure poison to her enemies.
o Dark Magic: The primary magic of Nora. With this, she calls upon the powers of the shadows & void to aid her in her battles. Although it has trouble against the light.
o Black Magic: This magic takes the form of elemental magic that deals damage, but true to its name, appears deeply blackened with no connection to nature whatsoever. In addition, she uses Necromancy & Blood magic, which’re also considered black magic, though in a different sense.
o Necromancy: Black magic that involves the dead. Nora is able to raise hordes of zombies & skeletons to fight under her direct command. Nora has no such problem raising ghouls, and is also not afraid to raise Dragon Zombies, and she’s not fussy about the type.
o Blood Magic: A type of black magic that involves afflicting the blood of others. Nora uses this magic to torture her targets by spreading corruption through their veins, and she can drain the target’s blood as well if necessary to make blood crystals.
o Decay: The polar opposite of Spirit. This forces the elements into Nora’s service instead of asking them for their aid. As a result, many of the elemental spells Nora uses always take on a sickeningly polluted appearance.
