This is a concept sketch of my original character, Laiho. He is a guardian spirit, a hybrid between a lion and a snake.
His name comes from the Finnish word for "young crops" or "sprouting grain." While the name suggests growth and life, Laiho is a formidable protector of the land. He embodies strength, confidence, and pride, posing a real danger to anyone who dares to threaten what he guards.

Его имя в переводе с финского означает «всходы» или «посевы». Это имя отражает его суть: он суровый страж плодородия и земель. Несмотря на мирное значение имени, характер у него боевой. На рисунке отмечены его главные черты: сила, уверенность, гордость и опасность.
