A pleasure hydrofoil slices through the perfectly-still waters of the Kessk Sea on Agketch, one of the calmest bodies of water in Union space. In centuries past, the Kessk Sea was "dead water", untraversable by all but the most tireless of rowing crews. Today, the flat waters are plied not by slave-driven triremes, but by fusion-powered hydrofoils and other performance craft. Such activities remain a favorite among off-duty warships and their crews, who frequent the system's fleet base for maintenance and repairs.
