I’m not sure if this is Chinese, Japanese, or a fusion of both…but I do know this is tasty and you make the noodles+soup right in the bowl!
Ingredients:
1 single serve pack of dry noodles (I use udon but any kind will do!)
3 thin pork cutlets (cooked)
2 packets miso soup mix
1 tbsp chilli crisp*
1 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp hoisin sauce
1 tsp chilli flakes
1+1/2 cup hot water (to boil noodles)
Recipe:
1-cook your pork cutlets on a searing hot skillet or pan with 1tsp oil
2-boil your noodles and add your soup mix packets, stir until your noodles are al dente
3-add your sauces and spices then mix to combine
4-add your cooked pork to your noodles
5-enjoy!
* From Chris: Look for "Lao Gan Ma" chili crisp in your Asian section, and NOT David Chang, who can go momo fuku himself >_<
