Originally I tried inverting it so it was white on black, but something closer to the default style read better. Since he's going to spend most of the remaining 2/3 of the comic as a dragon I wasn't sure I wanted to use anything too fancy for his speech when he actually goes big and scaly. I might even keep it as the default - this is mostly because we need the visual cue in this case.
