The reality of Davros
This is part of my AU where daleks evolved naturally rather than being created in a lab. While Skaro was being ravaged by the nuclear war between the kaleds and thals (reimagined as two races of the same ostrich-like species rather than 2 separate humanoid species), the radioactive fallout caused a series of random mutations that allowed a new species to develop sapience, a species that would learn hatred from the violence that surrounded them...
A photograph of the real Davros, a kaled scientist who was left with severe injuries after his bioweapons lab was hit by a bomb from the thals. He wrote a lot about his twisted, fascistic worldview, his racism towards the thals, his belief in eugenics, his praise of the military. He once wrote about how one could hypothetically use radiation to ‘speed up’ evolution and create the ‘ultimate lifeform’ for use in war. He could never have predicted that years after his death, those strange intelligent creatures recently discovered in the radiation swamps would come across and decode his writings during the eve of their civilisation, and come to misinterpret themselves as being the ‘master race’ he had spoken about in hypotheticals…
