Here is the latest pinup art over at Gameboysage Pateron , that feature Princess Sally Acorn!
I wanted to depicts Sally Acorn swinging through the dark, oppressive cityscape of Robotropolis, a place often steeped in shadow, machinery, and quiet danger. I’ve always loved the gritty, dystopian atmosphere of Sonic the Hedgehog or widely known as (SatAM), and this piece was my way of capturing that sense of tension and resistance that defined the series. The heavy contrast and stark line in this artwork were inspired by Frank Miller’s approach to inking backgrounds—using bold blacks and sharp silhouettes to let the environment feel overwhelming, almost alive, and pressing in around the character. I am not good at drawing backgrounds in most of my art, but getting the chance to do so was my way of getting out of my comfort zone
