Here's a reference to use to show what Simikats use their tails for. When stationary in a tree, Simikats will wrap their tails around the branches to create stability because they can't wave their tail for balance as they have white tips and don't change colors fast enough to compensate for the movements so a Tyraptor would notice the movements and attack.
