Very nice detail on the office, especially the Venus fly trap, makes the guy seem a lot more of a hard ass. =P

Glad you picked up on that XD Since in their world, the plant life is the most adaptive, vicious predator outside their walls, having a venus fly trap on his desk is sort of the equivalent of a bear skin throw rug.

In Aeternum was easy, but I was wracking my brain for what "Insurgi" meant. Then I noticed the plaque and then his name.

Sort of and yet that isn't entirely what the slogan is for. That phoenix crest has appeared on the lapels of almost every scientist and cop in this comic thus far, as it's the insignia of their militia. 'Insurgi in Aeternum' is their slogan. They are called the Insurgi, however, because they were founded by a phoenix by that name, and they play favourites with anyone in the family ;P

Not true! Phoenixes can die ;) They're immortal but not invincible, they'll live forever unless someone... intervenes haha
