When the Rhinefolk came to Finland to sell goods through a portal they met HoneyPaw and Kiirastuli. Honeypaw played with them, the group of rhinefolk, at the frozen lake and they raided the human market for goods. The rhinefolk caused problems for the gnomes in the mountain, where Kiirastuli and Honeypaw stayed because Honeypaw was in trouble with the fae and the gnomes had raised them. Kiirastuli often warned of using portals because it could attract the attention of some legend all the fae talked about, how when they found you there would only be fire. The rhinefolk were sworn to keep the whole story a secret, though little surving of them remembered what actually happened. Honeypaw was familiar to them, much like their goddess, the black bear Ursula and they want to confide in them the story. They start telling it and some flicker, some spark, in Honeypaw flits for a moment. The gnomes begin to become enraged and go after the rhinefolk. The rhinefolk run through a portal and usher Honeypaw in. Honeypaw goes and Kiirastuli is dragged with them through, (they are chained together due to a prior court issue). They get to the land of Rhinefolk in Wisconsin. The other rhinefolk feel betrayed and upset any part of that story was told, they discuss among themselves whether to finish telling it to them. In the meantime, Honeypaw is always foraging and searching for food, especially any they can trick a human out of.


This is a piece inspired and written of a thing my partner and I are doing. My character is Kiirastuli and they are Honeypaw. Also new technique I am trying with my brush.
