BALD HEATH!

This is one of the few times I went out of my way to draw something traditionally and scan it. I cropped out the drawings and slapped on a digital background to it. I feel like if I ever used this as a commission reference, the artist would have stabbed me due to the marker textures. I'm so glad I had no money to buy them. One of those weird interesting things is that I used to draw his wings more like blankets rather than wings. Not sure where I came up with that to be honest. I'm also not sure why I wanted him in a turquoise tank top as well.

I have to say though while the later iterations of the design are much better, there's something more animalistic and raw about these drawings in particular. I never really captured the same energy with him again, both before and after.
