So this was a character I created 2 years ago. Yes, it's an old drawing...I just found it flying around my HD :P I was trying to propose a story idea to an editor I knew while I was living in Japan, and Yuriko was the main character. I explained the story to him (thanks to my hubby for translating the more difficult words you don't learn off the street and/or class >.>), and he liked the story but thought it would be a bit too strong of a piece for my first one. He suggested for me to start with ero comics instead, and here I am LOL I guess it was good advice :P

For those interested in the story, I'll give you a quick synopsis. Basically Yuriko and her boyfriend Yuki had been roughing it out at as young couple, renting out a cheap apartment and working things out on their own. Yuriko has been begging for months to buy a dog to keep her company, but Yuki doesn't like animals. One night Yuki calls Yuriko and is rushing her to get ready, because he has plans for them at a restaurant. Yuriko gets aggravated because she's nervous, she feels uneasy at home. Yuki tells her to wait there and he'll pick her up, but she throws in his face that if she had a dog for protection, she probably wouldn't feel so uneasy. She marches out of the house, tells Yuki she will walk to the restaurant and hangs up the phone. Unfortunately this will be the last time Yuki will ever hear from her again. He was going to propose to her that night...
Unbeknown to Yuriko a crazed man was stalking her who eventually raped and killed her. Of course the event was dramatic for the family, especially Yuki. Fast forward a year and Yuki decides in Yuriko's honor, he will buy a dog. He goes to the pound and asks to see the least popular dog there. It was a little black Pomeranian named Marie who happened to be celebrating her 1st birthday. She was awfully adorable, but boy did she have a temper, especially with men!!

OK...tired of getting into details, but basically the dog is Yuriko, which he renames Lily (aka Yuriko's meaning in English, and also the dog's name I grew up with, RIP ; ;). Yuriko/Lily becomes self aware of the situation and the story is about her trying to let Yuki know who she is, whilst her annoying sister tries to put on the moves D: It's crazy~
