And what batch of uploads would be complete without my favorite character ever, eh? More Faen. More Faen, rahh!

Ahem- Big fan of character design translations across species.
HUGE fan of Monster Hunter- and INSANE fan for Valstrax in specific! I've eyed the species tf potions from Astrotail for a considerable time, and their Kamura Tea options have always been some of the finest - and, I had a pretty good idea for which monster species fit Faen best. With some alterations on the side, for sure - and Astrotail absolutely delivered on that, with all the little touches and twists on the original design too!

I am the BIGGEST fan of those water jets replacing the traditional red dragon-energy ones Valstrax usually totes, and how the fins and blue-green gradients were retained on the design...! Not to mention the sheer physical presence now, as any intimidating monster ought to show. This form is staggeringly tall [compared to the average humanoid, at least!], in my book... a good 3+ meters, for sure. We'll have to find out quite how tall, later! Faen's always been made of some long and lanky stuff, and it is only appropriate to scale that even further with such a majestic form as this. Again, such amazingly lovely work with the character, the design holds true to the original inspiration while taking it into an entirely new direction - such as how he kept on "lifting weights when I wasn't looking", as Amurous mentioned after showing me this treasure! xD

Also, I call this form "Val-Faen", just for ease of accuracy eheh. Oh! And as far as custom subspecies names go, I do like this one a great amount. Seems to fit the MonHun subspecies nomenclature, at least humorously!
