Originally planned to keep Hoshi as the only living Grandparent to the 1/2 Mermaid Clan

But at some point, I began thinking I ought to change that.

• Biography: Heinrich Socrates is the paternal grandfather of the ½ Mermaid Clan, essentially making him the father of Junichiro Socrates, the husband of Hoshi, and the father-in-law of Palutena. In his prime, he was known as Olympus’s 1st great champion, defending his homeland with prejudice & honor alongside his partner Hoshi. Together the two thwarted the plans of the techno witch Serpentine and dismantled her efforts to create an empire ruled solely by magitech. They did, however, bare witness to the rise of the ultimate evil that followed Serpentine: Her own son Werner. To this end, Heinrich & Hoshi have a son named Juni and the two raised him to be a sweet boy, but he was also trained to learn how to fight, understanding he had a big destiny ahead of him. Eventually, Heinrich’s family came under attack from an assassination team sent by Werner. Hoshi was knocked into a coma, her body fortunately recovered, but Werner struck a fatal blow to Heinrich and killed the old soldier, much to Juni’s despair. His body was cremated moments later, and while he did not live to see Juni fulfill his destiny & bring eternal peace to the realm, he was nonetheless satisfied that his work had paid off. However, the ½ Mermaid Clan’s wish to meet Heinrich was really strong, and thanks to the power of the White Dragonflight’s Divine Dragons, Heinrich was revived in time for Olympus’s ½ Genie Festival, and he was found by one of his grandchildren in a recreation of the Hypno Baron’s Castle. Upon being spotted by his wife Hoshi, the two were quick to embrace one another after many years apart. This was soon followed by his own son, and some of his grandchildren. And just like Hoshi, upon meeting Palutena, he instantly approved of her, saying Juni could not have chosen a better woman for a wife, not caring that Palutena’s a mermaid. Even so, Heinrich is satisfied that his son continues his heroic legacy and now lives in the Socrates Household as a retired hero. Heinrich is definitely a kind & considerate man, but he has proven to be rough at times. Especially when giving his granddaughters advice on battle. He enjoys the company of his grandchildren but openly detests spoiled brats. The most professional at chess.
• Abilities: In his prime, Heinrich was known as the strongest mortal on the continent, and he was unrivaled in terms of swordplay, being beaten only by his own son. Justified since he himself trained Juni. He is also skilled in using the Holy Arts, knowing a great deal of light magic to smite undead foes & demons. However, due to his age, he essentially is no longer as strong as he used to be, having passed on his mantle. That said, Heinrich is still capable of showing off his long lost might if pressured to do so.
