Hello!! This is a redesign of my old character, which will appear in my comic soon
The fact is that in Russian it is called "Плюша" (in English it sounds like Plusha lol). In English and Russian these words sound almost the same, but in the context of Russian - the word "Плюша" is a shortened form of the word "Плюшевый" (When in English, yes, sounding as abbreviated our word is already full!). That’s why ideally I need the shortened word "Plush" if it is XD. Because the very logic of this character’s name in Russian is a reduced and diminutive form of the original word, which in our language sounds longer
Quite obvious would be to call it Plush in English, buuut, for some reason I do not like this option, so I want your opinion on how best to do! We don’t change his name, but try to localize for English, haha.
So depending on the context, I want to hear your options. Which would be most convenient for a comic?

Or is there something similar in the sense that will fit best?
Honestly, I like the Plusha most of all, but I’m just not sure how an English-speaking audience would go with such a name

If Plusha is your top pick, go for it! It's your character and if you feel it's the perfect fit.. that's all that matters. I like the name “Plusha” It's unique and has a memorable sound. Although it might be a bit unfamiliar to English speakers, it's still easy to pronounce and could work well.
