I think this painting is a good show of what happens when going into it with 0 plan, energy and generally feeling very out of it
no matter the skill you cannot force a painting into being good no matter the revision count, how much you spend trying to rescue it before giving up on it
I've spent a lot of time thinking on things with this painting that I hope to show off soon but for now I must take a moment to recover
still though one must fail to succeed another time
while this might not be a public failure as ofc there will be people who will enjoy it, it is a personal one which still is not a terrible thing as I prefer to fail than not do anything at all
the painting will grow on me over time that's for sure so I very much might be overdramatic but I digress
