The wolfess guarding the passage saw the same over and over again and the heap was growing from what she managed to retrieve. At least mechanical "adventurers" were not that big of a problem as their creators just wanted to beat another time record or test new weapon.
Sometimes she succeedes in getting idea of going further, out of someone's head.
