I've spent many a year, pondering the nature of what it means in this world to be "Disabled" and "other'd" by society...The world's at a turning point...a crossroads...And disabled folk like me find our worth called into question...we're treated as burdens on society....Tanek is an extention of my self...So therefore, like me, Tanek has a disability..but unlike me, her Their disability is clearly visible in their mechanical arm replacing the organic one they were born without.

Like Tanek throughout my story of "Solomon's Law", I have struggled to find my place in the world...I thought maybe my artwork would be that defining thing for me....that thing that set me apart from others around me...something that gave me some kind of value...

Now everyone uses Dall-E or ChatGPT, or Grok, or Bing, or any number of other "instant-gratification" machines that literally take the spare change out of my pocket by providing this instant gratification, where it takes me hours, DAYS to draw something decent...

The only things I'm good at...drawing and voice acting...and they're being taken over by brainless bots and people who call themselves "Allies" who won't buy my art but will show me some garbage AI slop they generated...

It's gotten so bad that even the art facebook pages are using the shit..ACTIVISTS who are calling for the dismantling of AI are literlaly using AI to write their entire fkn thesis, and they're using it blatantly, not even trying to hide it anymore...

There's a BANKSY Fan page using AI-generated "art", FFS...and I'm just...I'm beside myself..I'm lost...I'm confused..I'm sad, and I'm angry....I honed my skills for years....No, I'm not fkn Rembrandt....but now it feels like I have no reason to even try anymore when everyone and their mother can just turn into expert prompt-kiddies and bust out 5 AI images in the time it takes me to draw a fkn stick figure..I hate it...Plunk down 20 bucks and the AI will generate thousands of mages for you...wonderful...but tell me...does AI have kids it has to feed? Does AI have bills to pay? Does AI need to buy toiletries and sundries to stay alive, fed, and functional? No? Then why the hell are you wasting money on it and taking the human equation out of the MOST HUMAN FUCKING THING A HUMAN CAN DO, which is CREATE SOMETHING FROM NOTHING?

AI can't tell you why it used yellow in that spot. It only used it because it copied the style of a thousand other artists who used yellow in that particular spot..it SURE AS FUCK CAN'T TELL YOU WHY FROM AN ARTISTIC STANDPOINT.

I hate how raw talent and realness have been fucked off for instant gratification...nobody has the patience to be "REAL anymore...
