Princess Pride and Diamond Snake - Inkey-Blue
First story of 2026.
A bit ironic as on my last journal I was starting to do more written works by myself and this came from a franchise that was one of those I was helped with. Yeah, the Battle Network games are fan, been playing them a lot more these last few years and after a while of not trying a story with the characters, I finally got an idea.
I just had to change my OC, Diamond Snake, into a NetNavi and if you know the franchise, you know that there are some hypnotic NetNavis, and the princess also remembered that.
The artist behind this piece was my good friend Inkey-Blue who as you can see, did some great details with both the hypnotic snake and the princess.

There was a new threat terrorizing the world.
From Electopia to Netopia, lately there were more reports about a virus that not only was difficult to stop, but was also capable of causing more damage than some of the most deadly viruses combined. Some of the Official NetBattlers from around the world were called, needing their assistance to take care of this virus, but even if there were good reports related to the mysterious danger, the kingdom of Creamland couldn’t take any risks.
After the last attack, it was decided to put Princess Pride in a safe place until the virus was deleted. The plan was simple, the guards made a look-alike take the princess’ place while she was hidden in a location that only a handful of people knew about. It was also decided that she should be without her PET and while it was risky to make the princess be away from her NetNavi KnightMan.EXE, the only one who could help her be protected against the virus, as there was the possibility the one behind this could find the princess, they agreed that it was better to do that, leaving Princess Pride with a regular PET.
She knew that this was being done for her protection and as the last thing she wanted was to put her kingdom in danger, the princess followed the plan, going by the day as a normal citizen of Creamland and not the one in charge. The blonde-haired gal believed thought this was a good plan, she was in one part of the country that her guards and her believed the one behind the attacks wouldn’t think about and she played her part as a normal citizen pretty well as no one in that town recognized her thanks to her using a different pair of clothes and not her white dress.
As night came, and another calm day in that little town came to an end, Princess Pride went back to the small cottage home where she stayed and decided to check her messages before going to bed. The first two were of KnightMan.Exe as her NetNavi gave him an insight about what the guards and him were doing during those last few days, and that he hoped she was fine, but the third one was a different thing.
“What is this?” The blonde-haired gal said as she looked at the message. It looked like random letters and numbers being put together and at one point, the princess even considered deleting the note, but after giving it a closer look, she found out that there was a hidden message. “D14M0ND SN4K3? I don’t understand.”
She wondered if this was either a secret code that one of the guards sent her just in case or someone sending a message to the wrong person, but unbeknownst to her, she just fell for a trap. She didn’t know it, but the plan of making her go away and stay hidden was already a failure thanks to the mysterious hacker behind the virus not only being aware that she wasn’t in her kingdom, but that the virus was already tracking her. It took a few days, but finally the princess was found and while she took one last look at the note she got, the virus revealed itself by taking control of her temporary PET.
“What the…” the moment she saw the colorful eyes of the snake-looking creature, she was affected by a multitude of sensations. It was strange and a bit eerie, but at the same time, this felt really nice. She still had enough awareness to know that this couldn’t be good, deducing that what she was seeing was that same virus she was supposed to avoid, but all it took was a few seconds for her to fix her gaze on the entrancing eyes of the snake for her to struggle. “I must…look away…”
Her experience having to deal with viruses like these gave her an idea about what to do, but something as simple as putting down her PET and looking away became almost an impossible task. She tried the best she could, using all her strengths to do that, but sadly, not only did her efforts go nowhere, but she started to feel more exhausted, giving the hypnotic snake the upper hand. As his eyes continued to do the trick, the virus started swaying his head from one side to the other, a tactic that would speed up the induction.
“N-no...this is wrong...I can feel it... I have to...resist..can’t…end like this…” Princess Pride made one last attempt, thinking about what would happen if she let the virus win. She didn’t want Creamland to suffer or make the plan her guards prepared go wrong, but by that point, it was difficult to fight back. It didn’t help that this just came during the time she was feeling the most exhausted as the entrancing eyes that guided her into a state of relaxation, one that she was aching for for weeks, and by that point, her own eyes started to be covered by the same colorful spirals the virus was using against her. “Nice…feeling…pretty…colors…”
Her role as a princess, while something she was honored to do, was always tiring and there was rarely a time for her to relax and take things calmly. Even if it wasn’t as bad as before, where the blonde-haired gal had less than a day off, she still was feeling weary. By that point, the snake’s eyes guided her deeper into trance, granting her that nice thing she was hoping to get and now that she was how the virus wanted, he moved on to the second part of the induction. The ones trying to stop the virus knew about its hypnotic abilities and were working on ways to find a way to resist it, but they didn’t know about his other powers and the princess soon found out that the virus she was supposed to be protected from could do more than just change the colors of his eyes.
Effortlessly, the snake materialized in the room, causing no reaction from the princess even after the screen in her PET turned off. Diamond Snake always found it pleasant to see his victims like this, dazed, powerless and with no intention of breaking free from their hypnotic state, but he was far from done as he had to help the princess “understand” she had to help him and his creator with their plans. He quickly went on to work, letting the hypnotized princess see his gaze again while he slowly coiled her before tightening his tail around her neck.
“W-wait a…moment…this…this is…bad…” She came back to her senses just for a moment after the quick choke, remembering what happened before this and also being surprised by seeing the virus in front of her. The princess would have reacted differently if it wasn’t for the snake virus moving his head closer to her gaze, letting her admire those same hypnotic colors that hypnotized her before. It didn’t matter that the princess was trying to resist again, she was powerless and the snake creature was confident that it wouldn’t take long for the princess to submit completely. “I...I...I...”
Once again, Princess Pride found herself locked in an internal struggle. She couldn’t deny how pleasant that sensation was, and her fascination with the snake’s eyes continued to grow, yet, she still remembered that her kingdom needed her and she couldn’t let the virus prevail. Still, the blonde-haired gal was at a disadvantage, being the one struggling while the hypnotic snake continued to have the upper hand, showing that he wasn’t planning on stopping until getting what he wanted.
“L-let me…go…” was all the princess could say, trying one last time to fight this feeling just to fail in the process. The virus wasn’t planning on stopping, those hypnotic and colorful eyes continued to take a big impact on her and by that point, everything else started to vanish. Her reasons for being there and trying to fight back became unimportant while she started to like the idea of submission. “I…I want this?”
She was doubting, still unsure about how to feel about this, but thanks to the snake virus, who nodded his head, she finally made up her mind. The start of the induction might have given her a bad idea that she saw as a mistake from her part, but now, the princess not only accepted that this was the most wonderful feeling in the world, she wanted more and was more than happy to see that the hypnotic snake would grant her what she desired.
“I…I love this…please don’t…don’t stop…” she spoke in a needy tone, wanting for the virus to help her and continue making her feel like this. Those eyes and the way his coils massaged her body made her go to a state of relaxation she didn’t know existed and she was happy about it. Even her expression changed, with her smile growing bigger and the spirals in her eyes moving at a faster pace than before. “I love…the colors…love...how they make me feel...”
That’s all the virus had to hear to know that she was his to control. No more fighting or resistance from her part, just a hypnotized princess that would do anything he commanded. Now that she had her like he wanted, the snake virus stopped using his spirals, confident that the blonde-haired gal would remain in her trance state even without them and as he picked up her temporary PET with his tail, he noticed that his creator had sent a new message. It wasn’t a problem that he was a silent creature, all he had to do was move the PET closer to the princess and show her the message.
“I must...follow your orders. I’ll leave this town and...wait for you...” she mindlessly said, reading the message out loud and accepting that this was what she had to do. The command was the opposite from the original plan as instead of staying hidden there, she was leaving the town that same night. She had no control over herself anymore, and by the looks of it, she was fine with following the orders of someone else. After the hacker sent another message, giving her more instructions and also a reminder that she should always be loyal to her new master, the princess nodded her head before reading part of the note out loud. “Yes, you are my master and I...will obey you. I’ll leave this place tonight and...will make sure no one sees me...”
With her understanding what she had to do, and with the induction coming to an end, Diamond Snake took one last look at the hypnotized princess before liberating her from his coils. Like he expected, she didn’t attempt to run, waiting instead for the snake creature to hand her the temporary PET and for him to also open the door. She marched out, remembering the place where she had to go and reminding herself that she had a task to complete. As for the hypnotic snake, with the induction over, he teleported away, remaining hidden until his creator needed his assistant again.
Making Princess Pride be away from her kingdom was a good idea and could have worked if it wasn’t that this mysterious hacker and the hypnotic virus already knew she was hiding. The plan of the guards failed completely while the opposite was for the scheme of the mysterious hacker, who not only had success, but also had the princess in a mindless state. Of course, the princess didn’t mind at all, embracing that state of complete relaxation and liking the fact that she no longer was feeling tired or exhausted. That she fell for the hacker’s hypnotic virus was indeed bad and she didn’t know what would happen next, but thanks to the snake’s gaze and her reaching that state of eternal bliss.
She didn’t mind being like this.
