Timing practice CRITIQUE PLEASE!
From my last pic I can tell that I need to practice drawing legs/feet and arms/hands (the latter to a lesser extent, but still. And I was also told to draw skeletons for the characters or they look "bloby". Taken as note, but this time we dive into a different territory.
My good old bud
slackerjaw re-appeared and gave me a few tips. I informed him that I already did use reference, but he said that if I want to work as a computer graphic artist, I need to be quick. SURE sometimes I'll have a whole week for a drawing, but sometimes I'll just have 1 afternoon! So here's the exercise he told me about: draw a character in 5 minutes, then stop and draw another character.
I have to say that I felt joyfully surprised by this! I always said that speed is also a valuable trait for an artist. SURE, I sometimes also sit on an artwork for HOURS, but we can't have that always. As you can see, I did it whole 9 characters. And to be honest, I was VERY nervous about the whole deal at first, but to be honest, in average all of these drawings were done at about 4 minutes 30 seconds (1 being much quicker (top left) and 1 being on the 5 minute borderline (top middle) ).
Look, I'm not saying these are masterpieces, but in all fairness, taking into consideration that each of these characters was drawn in under 5 minutes, isn't it at least a bit positive?

The probelm with things like this is there is so much it's hard to comment on it all.
But I will go with two that I spot a few problems.
The character in the middle: the left arm looks long, and the neck looks too far back, as well as a little long.
The character doing the high kick: (I assume female) her kicking leg looks very low, almost like it's not attached to the hips. The way it looks, it looks like the hip/leg joint is in line with her left hand, but in my eye it halfway between her hand and the top of her skirt.
That's the big things I notice, sorry I can't help more.
