Simba has changed some parts of the Circle of Life and he even sometimes like to call it Circle of Chakula (Chakula means “food” or “meal” in Swahili). The concept first came to him when Simba wanted his pride to have an enjoyable fat life like he had back in the jungle.

He made an agreement with the prey animals where the lionesses can hunt them, but they are not allowed to hunt them in cases where their population is low or when a new member of their group is born. For my headcanon, they accept the Circle of Life and know that one day they will be eaten by lions or any other predators to maintain the balance since that's just a part of nature and can't be change. There's even a tradition with the predators where they would pay respect to their prey after hunting them (I got that idea from the Disney Villains Scar comic).

Some of the lionesses became fat while the others remain as the same shape. Simba didn't mind much since he was happy to see his pride well fed.




I've been working on this artwork since June 2025 and today I finally finished.
