Moved some goo around, got rid of some ugly negative spaces in my silhouette and got my shoulders out from under my head. Nothing major.
A slime creature that mutated into being thanks to a meteor that landed in a swamp filled with goopy, glubby creatures, Ollie was discovered as a completely shapeless blob by the dragon Charles, who visited the remote area while doing geological research. He first enjoyed the creature's company as a fun diversion, but soon realized they were intelligent when they started speaking back to them in English. He ended up naming them after a mineral with a very similar color to them, olivine, and took them home.
Now after sculpting themselves a form to interact with other sapient beings with, Ollie is living out modern life like everyone else-- anxious and tired. Staying in their more friendly, upright form and not just melting into a blob requires a constant effort, but they do it because they want to seem more approachable and they don't want to attract the attention of others more than they already do.
They have a mischievous streak and may talk a big game about being a grouchy chaos goblin who doesn't care about the rules of the society they've been adopted into, but in reality, they're too shy and would rather die than inconvenience people. They're easy to casually befriend but actually getting close to them is rather difficult- they value their private time where they can rest and not care about masking and they need the people they get close to to be understanding of that. To the friends they do have they can be rather clingy and affectionate, but they are always afraid of accidentally overstepping their bounds.
