Tuomas is me
This is a piece I wanted for a very long time.
An idea that lived quietly in the background, waiting for the right moment, the right artist, and the right version of myself to finally bring it to life.
Castlevania has always meant more to me than just a game series. Symphony of the Night and Dawn of Sorrow are tied to vivid memories, to people, to moments that shaped who I am. Seeing those two eras reflected in one image, modern and mythic, composed and burdened, felt like the only way to do that legacy justice.
I love the mirror concept here. One side grounded, professional, controlled. The other carrying history, resolve, and the weight of being something more than human while still trying to do good. Two faces of the same existence, neither canceling the other out.
My dragon form was the perfect choice for this piece, and Solarflare captured it beautifully. The restraint, the emotion, the quiet strength in both reflections mean a great deal to me, as well as taking the role of my childhood hero Alucard.
Castlevania continues to inspire me through its games, its art, and even the Netflix series that kept that spark alive. This piece is a thank you, a reflection, and a reminder of why this world still matters so much to me.
And yes, KONAMI… I am still waiting for a new game. MAKE IT HAPPEN!
(and a proper Symphony of the Night pc port, combining both PS1 and Saturn versions)
