Perhaps Abigail's father is overly protective and would rather his daughter be safe at home, cooking and spending hours under their parental gaze than wandering around the cemetery late at night and wielding a sword without any practice. Pierre must try to understand that times have changed and things no longer work the way they did when he and Abigail's mother were young. The young lady needs more freedom, and above all, not to be treated like a servant to her parents. She must follow her own destiny and do what she wants. She is no longer a child forced to stay indoors and go to bed early at night. If Abigail even wishes to embark on an adventure, she should simply have the support of her family and be encouraged. Luckily, both Alex and Kyle understand her very well and are ready to give her a little big help. Kyle verbally lectures her father on how to treat his daughter more respectfully, while Alex listens to Abigail when she confides in her about her misunderstandings with parents behind some bushes, and tells her that she really likes Kyle a lot. I'm sure that one day Pierre and his wife will understand their daughter's perspective~
