I've drawn Rei training in the past so I was due to do the same with Yuri as well!



He fights primarily with punches n grapples & even has a training dummy set up in the back of the tavern he and Rei live at~



He's always such a hard worker!

Ooooh, I like the motion with the punch. You get the hint that he's got a lot of strength to him. Grappling DOES require a lot of strength after all. ;)

I did a little karate as a kid but I'm not very active or proficient with martial arts due to a knee injury

I have to solely rely on reference poses to get what i want for these pics

Not sure. Its made out of scraps and junk he found lying around so it was already pretty beat up when he made it

Possibly lots of straw and hay.

Pretty cheap to get, it's one reason why they were used for training dummies.
