Don't go... | personal art | Indigo / Spyro
A 2 panel Artwork I started around 11:30pm yesterday, and finished between 3:30 / 4 am in the morning.
First art of 2026 to come back into drawing after ending a pretty shitty year. A lot has happened in between October and December that dragged me further away from drawing and I'm slowly getting back into it.
To get back to this piece, some small details why it took so long:
The background took the most time to make, started with sketching the whole thing, added badic colors and later added color variations and shadows/glare for the leaves, bark, grass and sky etc. I used 3 different leaf texture, 2 different grass texture and grain textured brushes for the detailing on leaves, grass and dirt path.
Second panel just has a zoomed in copy of the background of panel one.
For the characters I didn't use much more than the basic colors for Indigo and spyro, added basic shading afterwards and softened everything afterwards.
