This was a substantial building! I wonder, when was the last time it had a roof over it?

I too have always had a fondness for actual stone structures. From the amazing Cathedrals to castles, there's just something about people having the ability to cut and shape solid rock into whatever form they need, and then to build such stout, generational homes/bldgs.?

It's a shame to see any of them in decay/ruin. I imagine what all the memories they once contained, were?
