So, when
Nicole was doing sketches on Friday, I decided to try again, and got in another spot... I'm running out of characters to get the artist to draw, but decided to go with a picture of Jadestar, just on general principles. (I've also been writing a story that includes her that may be in the Furnal Equinox conbook.) I think Nicole did a great job on getting the sheer joy of 'I can fly!'
Artist's posting at https://www.furaffinity.net/view/63725334/, so go check things out there, too!

I like it, yes. It was originally inspired by the original outfit used by Laurel Gand, a.k.a. Andromeda from DC comics, except in green, with this image being the first drawing. I later managed to build something pretty close in the Champions Online character creator.
Yeah, it's a fun theme.
Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings; ...
High Flight
(I'd forgotten the poet in question flew for the Royal Canadian Air Force; apparently he was an Anglo-American who moved to Canada to join the war effort in the days before the U.S. officially joined WWII.)

Thanks! Yeah, I really like the design myself (which is good, considering I chose it). It's almost like a full dress that's cut up the sides over the hips and then allowed to dangle. It looks fantastic, though if I couldn't fly I'd probably get it tangled up in my legs way too often. (And Edna Mode would have fits, even if it doesn't technically have a cape.)
