Sounds allot like me in ways :)Hmm I might have to move there! id love to be able to just suit and tack up and go for a stroll and not get arrested or shot:p. I wear my harness around the house but am uber nervous about stepping outside with it on.(Unless im out in the back pasture hidden from the pryin eyes.
It rather frustrates me those that claim they are ponys , yet they have no clue what to do or how to act. I see this in fursuiters too, as they assume a horse persona, cause it looks cool. I cant see how they assume somthing they have little to no interest in. Would be like me making a cat suit and wearin it to a con. Itd be a farce.

I definitely follow you on the less domination/humiliation angle of petplay - I was interested to discover quite a few ponies in Germany who seem to focus on the positive proud pony aspect, which is certainly the what I favour myself, becoming a "magical animal" rather than a humiliated, 'abused' human. I am glad that the AUPs have since been relaxed again at least - glad that you've had much more positive experiences in your costume more publicly. For myself, I've always loved human beings expressing animals, from anything as subtle as a t-shirt or item of jewellery, right up to costumes, or even heavy animal roleplay.
