Haven't shown any progress pictures here in a while; this is the suit IN PROGRESS! Commissioned for Dragon Con this year, and from what we have heard, she will be entering the masquerade.
Still some tiny little edits to be done, but tomorrow it will be airbrushed, and then hopefully on Thursday will be mailed out. I am not sure if I'm keeping the vision area like that, or if I will be changing it somehow.
Covered entirely in upholstery fabric with a scaley texture/pattern to it.
Tail is 6 ft long and has a foam core
Head sits above your own, and is a resin/rigid foam structure.
The jaw DOES move when yours does.
Claws are all made of plastic so they click when they hit the ground

Nope, minor edits to the suit itself. These pictures were also taken with her almost standing straight up, so the suit will look slightly different instead of the hunched over position it should be in. These pictures were taken to make sure nothing showed that shouldn't; we just thought we'd upload them so people could see the progress even if they haven't been attending the streams.
wow! creative use of fabric! you know, i bet if they had use of something like this for the original JP they mightve used it for parts of the movie! this is just so awesome i think i'd be upset if the owner didn't use it again after dragon con!! ...speaking of which, do we have any conventions like that on the WEST coast? (besides the obvious comicon, wondercon, and blizzcon).
