I've been wanting to do something for the very awesome Rusty Haller for a while now, but I've been waiting to see if he'd ever post a fursona so I could draw HIM. >_<
I'm presently trying to cross some items off my "meant to do list", and since cartooning himself doesn't seem to be on the top of his, I've done a pic of Rusty's beloved characters - "Ace and Queenie".
In this piece Alex is gently embracing Denise while she sits on a stone wall. Nothing exciting - just a tender moment between the super spies while off-duty. I guess what I was trying to capture in this one was how much he adores his kitty-love (makes a girl jealous). <3
Alex looks kind of bishie in this pic - sorry if I made him too much of a pretty-boy, Rusty. I guess I've been reading too much manga. @_@'
Anyone who hasn't heard of "Ace and Queenie" should definately check it out. It's choc full of action, laughs, and of course that essentail ingredient, ROMANCE! <3

As unfamiliar as I am with these characters (my apologies, Mr Haller!), I hesitate to offer any observations... but Alex seems fascinated by the highlights in the lady's lustrous hair (and who could blame him?).
I also like the way that his left arm is placed, not so much to embrace Denise, but almost as if to hold her back from any potential fall from a high ledge -- a protective gesture, and a very tender one.
