Sorry this took a bit. But we got a double whammy, where we focus on both versions of Tails’ parents. In Episode 60 of Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Tails’ New Home, Sonic got worried of Tails constantly getting hurt during his adventures. So he began searching for a family for him to be raised. That’s when Robotnik made fake parents to lure Tails into a trap. Of course, Sonic saves the day and Tails is still happy to be raised by him, seeing him as family. As for Tails’ real parents however, we never got an answer for that. Surprisingly, Tails never had any thoughts about how he’s an orphan throughout the series. I kid you not, in the show, Tails just fell from the sky and onto Sonic. You may think it could be a stork joke, but Tails is already knowing English and has his name Miles. So that implies either the parents left him behind, or he fell out of a plane? I dunno.

But anyway, while we may never know what happened, that gave me an idea. What if these parents are real?

So these are my takes on the fake parents from AoStH. Only much younger and not evil lol. So I based them off the designs, but added more details to make them look a bit like farmers/suburban folks. They also have a much sweeter personality. Naming them was the tougher part, but after some scrambling, Jonah and Heather seem the most fitting. Now as for lore, well, I’m gonna remove the whole “fall out of the sky” bit cause that’s rather cruel. I’ll retcon it to just found in the wild. And soon, Sonic would help Tails reunite with his parents. And all the rejoicing! Hope you guys like it!
