Sorry this took a bit. But we got a double whammy, where we focus on both versions of Tails’ parents. And here, we have my AU take of Rosemary and Amadeus Prower from the Archie comics. The only time Tails had parents throughout the franchise. No other media in the series had that. Seeing as they had a history, I’ll keep it brief. At one point in the comics, Sonic finds himself in space after sacrificing himself to save everyone from a black hole. That’s when he met Tails’ parents. And soon, they made it back home. However, they caused some trouble in the Knothole Kingdom. Even causing the infamous “Sonic fightings Tails” story. Yeah, to give my two cents, they were rather questionable to say the least. I blame the writing. And if it weren’t for the fact I find Tails’ mom hot, I would’ve ignored them. But to sum it up, after the Archie comics rebooted, they are pretty much gone. Just like before.

Well aside from that, I do wanna include them in my AU seeing as they are the only parents Tails had. Yeah, there was the headcanon one I just posted. But I wanna bring forgotten characters back from the dead. So I had the headcanon ones in their own universe. So for the AU, they are no longer council member or any sort of royalty or whatever. Just a happy, mundane family. I wanna make them much kinder and sweeter compared to the Archie counterparts. Where they won’t cause random fights for no reason. They live in a modest home, maybe a farm or suburban area. Something that Tails can have his workshop and do experiments without interfering with anyone. And their design does take cues from the headcanon counterparts, to really show how the multiverse mixed and matched realities.

Now unlike Cosmo, the Underground siblings, and more in the future, they aren’t anomalies. They are with Tails from the start. The events of Prime had them mix with their variants. However, just because they aren’t anomalies, that doesn’t mean they are safe from the Paradox Prism’s powers. Canon Events can still affect people. And well…let’s just say they may not have gotten to space like the Archie variants…yet…

Rosemary: Myles is a sweet kid. We have been raising him to be good. And we are proud of what he has achieved.

Amadeus: And he shares his love back with us too. I can’t imagine where he would be without us. God forbid if that ever happens.
