The videos on my Itaku, Go watch the mouse spin!
I wanted to challenge myself to get a critter modeled, shaded, rigged, weight-painted, blend-shaped and animated in less than six hours. The lil fella's 4,586 tris, and 48 bones, with a mixed vertex shader. Done in Upbge 2.5b.

I've got the break down for this post in my scraps for those who are curious.

It’s not my first time modeling 3d characters, but I’ve been mulling over the process and figuring out a good mix between quality and efficiency over the years. Making a 3d character for animation can take days depending on how much detail or technical artistry goes into it. Getting it done on a work night was a personal record in my book.
Oooh, gotcha~ Honestly, the idea that I might also be able to one day model something this nice in six hours (after plenty of practice and learning) kinda makes the idea of modeling more appealing to me. So thank you for this! And also for putting together that breakdown - was really neat to look through!
