A bit of fortune cookie wisdom. Don't rage at a friends unless you are prepared to lose them. Don't lose your temper at objects unless you are prepared to do without them. Don't throw anger around in the open unless you are ready to catch it on the return. Ask yourself if it is worth getting upset, because anger feeds itself, and whatever it is worth - chances are you will pay.

Note: to avoid being a hypocrite, I must admit, I've chosen to consciously pay for my anger outbursts on several occasions. I can't say it's always wrong, though I search for that path. But I can say losing your head is never free of consequence.
