I find it kinda strange Dhaval didn't catch on earlier. I guess it's like taking some cute little innocent super conservative sheltered son of a soccer/plaidshirt and denim dress/overalls homeschool mom Christian boy and throwing him in an adult show house. Though I guess the probability would be instant tent pitching and an "OMG BOOOBS!" reaction or he's scared shitless and is shocked and scared for life. Though from what we have here, looks like the former is the case. And then the instant boner killer of when he finds some hungry patron wants a serving of chocolate striped vanilla feline pie.
I can't really explain it, something about this part of the comic just caused an emotional shiver up my spine, felt like my ear just got waterlogged and my heart stopped beating. Perhaps I was pissed off, I don't know, but I'm keeping my decision final. I'm still paying attention to all of your other lovely artwork, just not this comic anymore
Dam this comic is incredible. I'm mostly a hoofer stud myself, but I have to agree, you know how to draw some predatory stunner ladies ;).
And dhaval. He certainly needs someone special. I hope he gets it. He's the type that just pulls at your heartstrings. So innocent. He needs someone who is strong and a teacher.
Interestingly enough Amon may be just the person :)
Keep going! Can't wait for the print copy.

you forget a crucial thing. you see that collar around Amon's neck? that means he's basecally a slave. and if that other dude, the paying customer, decides to be a little rude to him, well... he has every right to it and there's nothing that Amon can do. why? because the guy is free AND a paying customer, while Amon is just... well, a slave. it ain't pretty, but that's how the world of a slave looks like.
a bouncer only protects him whenever someone tries to hurt him as it would damage the "merchandise". however, a bouncer doesn't protect him from being called names or being spoken to in a rude fashion.
so yeah... the guy can be as rude as he want to Amon and there's nothing he can do about it but endure it.

kinda miss the diversity there, given that the fur-vs-scales thing of the comic makes all to much diversity pretty much impossible... and the lack of feathers doesn't help either... and the lack of herbivores but those would also be fur... still would help make the fur a bit more diversive :-P
well, the separation between mammals and cold-blooded critters is *supposed* to be a large cultural divide. The story is *about* a cultural clash, so it's important. The lack of avians is because the Cathazra practically are, already. Many of them have feathers.
And the lack of anthro herbivores is because there are herd and riding animals used in the comic, and that would get confusing.

i suppose it would but actually, that would also aid into making the world more interesting. because then, you would face the situation of having, for example, anthro equines and nonanthro equines. which in turn raises the question why some equines are anthro and others are not. and the explanation to that could make up a quite interesting story arch, depending on how creative someone is.
and yes, i do see the cultural divide and cultural clash... although so far, i mostly got the impression that the story was about a homosexual whore and his protege, with a homosexual naval officer thrown in as a possible love interest for the whore :-P i don't want to bash anything really, but the cultural so far seemed to play a very minor role in the comic. its made up to be pretty big in the world this plays, yes, but for the main characters, Amon and Dhaval, this just seems to have very little to do with them as it doesn't actually involve them. it involves Luther, yes, but... i wouldn't say that we had a that much focus on him as of yet to consider him a main character.
likewise, cultural divide and clashes... well, culture is not neccessarily made up of the general race but more of the way some people, some individuals, live in certain regions. as such, i cannot really see a reason why for example no reptilian species live together with the furs and vice versa. and i also do think that this would have made the cultural divide and eventual clash more interesting. the way it is now, it is fairly simple and easy for people there. we have fur, the others don't. they have scales and hence are the enemy and need to be destroyed. the end. that makes it very easy for them and the reader too to differ between the two. however, if we had this mix, this added diversity, the whole thing would be much more complicated and complex. it would be much more difficult for many of the characters and the reader too. especially since that can be used to put in various other things, like racism for example, originally directed at the opposing side but there are individuals on the own side who feel discriminated against too. the threat of espionage would take on a whole new levels, as would be the idea of betraying your faction for the other.

I adore Amon's attire. You did a great job getting the "egyptian Jackal" feel from this. He is such a seductive character. I really adore him :3
Also not quite how I thought he would tell Dhaval, but perhaps it is good that it is mentioned in passing at the moment, rather than a seriously crushing talk.

Listening to various versions of the Zelda Fairy Fountain Theme while reading this has an interesting effect. Probably shouldn't be listening to it while looking at this for the first time, but I feel like it needs music; and this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FoEtIJJRHaQ is what I've been scouring youtube for today anyways.
