OIM: So Bob, your guest set himself up ok last night ?
Maintainence Supervisor: Yeah, he's hung his hammock under the helideck like the last time.
Although he did spend half the evening terrorizing Keith who has relinquish the parts store to him.
OIM: Does he have everything he needs down there ?
MS: He has taken the overhaul kits down to the sack room. He just want liners again. Left the power
packs alone. Didn't touch #3's crank again. He'll decide when the old one's out. Probably unneeded.
OIM: Ok, sounds like everything thing's going well. Paperwork time.
Rig Mechanic: We got as many hours out of #5 as possible. Just shut it down and drawn lock out
permits. He's also requested lock outs for #5's syncro board and main breakers. He'll put his
padlock on all 3. Coolant will be drain and stored on deck in a 400gal cube. Already have the request
in and permit to store non-flammable liquids up top. Oil has 932 hours on it, so 100gal into waste oil
and 100gal fresh earmarked for start up. He's also requested for a pair of 2 ton chainblocks and a a
pair of 1 ton lever blocks. 4 2 ton and 4 1 ton slings. I'll get Keith bring those to the engine room.
MS: Oh Jerry, remember to clear a space in the sack room to pack all the REMAN parts for return.
Do not ask him to put them in the mud pump room líke the last time. The hatch is not big enough,
RM: He's already annexed a corner of the sack room. No one is to enter his 'territory'.
*Laughter*
RM: He's already signed off on the lock out permits and the work order. He's estimating 12 days for
the 25.000 hour overhaul. We will keep #1 and #2 will take main load with #4 on auxillary load.
