Karamador: Tourney in Aborku, Page 149

Sir Kiljaos shows the spy's scroll to Princess Anima, who recognizes the mark on it as well but not the text. She has found out that this mark is an ancient secret sign of the alliances between forces of chaos, and is now used by the insectoids and the undead as the sign of their Alliance of Blood (we the readers learned this already from this story's prologue, pages 1-8). Princess Anima wants to come with Sir Kiljaos to the library to decipher the scroll's text, but Sir Kiljaos doesn't accept this, wanting her to return to the castle for her safety's sake, which angers her.
