The trip to Burabay left me with the feeling of a truly special place: a living forest, rocks with character, and air that makes you want to breathe deeply, especially after the heavy, polluted city air. Amid all this, it's easy to believe that Ponya and Shamargan could have lived here, or somewhere very similar. And now they are not just drawn characters for me - it’s as if they were embodied there, in a protected space, to run through real snow and get lost among the pines.
