Puede una gota de lodo
sobre un diamante caer;
puede también de este modo
su fulgor oscurecer;
pero aunque el diamante todo
se encuentre de fango lleno,
el valor que lo hace bueno
no perderá ni un instante,
y ha de ser siempre diamante
por más que lo manche el cieno.

This is the poem I heard when I was young, so I used it as inspiration for this drawing. Its also based on the song "Diamonds in the Dark (J.G.F Remix)" by We Are Leo, so I used these two sources as inspiration for this drawing. Although, I hope you had fun getting dirty and rolling around in the mud looking for diamonds.
