This drawing was drawn for my husband's birthday last year, as well as for our one-year anniversary as a couple. We got married in April of this year, well after this was drawn.

In either case...
My husband is from the Netherlands, and I'm from the United States. Even across the ocean, we still found love and found ourselves together. We struggled through immigration, and now he's here with me, legally, and things are good for the time being.
