I didn't make it official, but for the last 10 days I've been making daily trips to the vet clinic with one of my cats. During the winter break, we were separated because I no longer had a place to sleep at my parents' house — I was staying with relatives, and the cats stayed at home in the care of my parents. As it turned out, she had been eating poorly or not eating at all during that time, and no one told me about it. I only found out about the problem when we returned to the city and I noticed it myself, wondering what the problem was. During a phone conversation, I was told that she wasn't eating anything anyway, so everything was fine.
As soon as the problem was discovered, we went to the nearest normal veterinary clinic, had tests done, got a catheter and the first IV drip. Since then, we have been going for an hour-long IV drip every day, force-feeding her light pâté with nutritional supplements from a spoon and giving her unpleasant medicine, also by force, twice a day.

I don't know what she ate at her parents' house, but roughly speaking, her stomach stopped working, and all this time we had to get it working again and then convince the cat that she could eat. And today it all finally ended. I only lost money and nerves, but everything turned out fine, and the little furry mischief-maker is running around the apartment again as if those almost 20 days of illness had never happened
