ART TRADE: I'm the Tornado
My part of an ART TRADE with one of my most trusted and best fans: “Tornado” (formerly known as “FlamingLizard”)!!
I’ve drawn his character in my “enhanced cartoon style” (enhanced because there is a more sophisticated background and some light effects).
Yes, you may recognize that “Tornado” looks quite like “Reptile Cynrik”… for good reason: my trusted fan loved “Reptile” so much, it kinda inspired him in his own creation. That’s why “Tornado’s” design is similar to “Reptile”.
But this here is NOT “Reptile”!!!!! ^^
I hope you like my version of “Tornado”, buddy! *hugs*

Yes he looks like your character, and I know when we want to create a character, we're searching some informations and examples in our favourites artist gallery!^^
It was my case too, when I created Inika (I take Valeris and an another character for example)!XP
Great drawing as always Reppy!^^

Thanks!! ^^ Usually, I don't use these hard contrasts (if you check my previous artworks you might find that I like a shade that's around an opacity of 50%). This time, I have used a 80% contrast of the shading and it looks ok. After all, it's night! Storm and lightning!! And that called out for a hard contrasting.
To be honest, I've used a photo of a human model for reference. I usually do!
But with practise and the use of such references comes a lot of knowledge, too. I'm confident that I could correct almost ANY artwork, given to me by any person.
You or anyone else... could give me a drawing of a body and I would find flaws and anatomical mistakes... and could correct em!
Yes, I could do that.
But when I want a perfect drawing, I usually use real models. ^^ Mostly myself or friends. And when I do a real photo shoot, I'm quite free in the positions, view angles and light sources of my composition.

Let me put it that way... I may not have THIS body, but I'm not "really fat", either. :)
I am 182 cm tall and weigh 83 kg. So, rather normal. My upper body and chest is pretty huge and strong... it runs in the family, we all have wide shoulders, hehehehe.
I just have a small "soft tummy" around the waistline. ^^" But I'm working on that.
Here's a picture of me with my car:

See, I don't look that bad... I think. XD

Awww! You don't have to work on that tummy! A little tummy is cute! And with the broad shoulders you're allowed to anyway. By all means getting rid of the small pouch isn't a bad idea.
I give you a two thumbs up! Congrats an internet shark complimented you. Most sane people would disregard this comment XD
