This was either the first or second transformation I drew involving an OC I have been slowly developing named Michael. Say hi, Michael! He's going to appear in something I have been working on called "Red Brick State University", sort of a transformation/college setting.
Anyways! I originally drew this because I think ichthyosaurs are very neat, and at the time, there were NO ichthyosaur transformations I could find on Furaffinity or e621. So I decided to fix that! The world needs more fish lizards.
The idea here is sorta like an adaptive transformation, something that takes place over a long time with the victim - in this case Michael - slowly transforming more and more into a better form for the environment the longer he stays in the water. Not sure if it takes hours, days, or weeks, but he seems happy with it!
Small update: Spelling in title and description.

this is such a fun take, I really like the idea of slow adaptation based on the environment you linger in <3
Eager to see more of this character! Does he get stuck when he’s all the way? Short of beaching himself intentionally and hoping that works I can’t think of how he’d get back OUT of that environment like that lmao
