Halvah is a foreign exchange student from Germany who came to attend the local college. He's often said by his fellow students to be clumsy and extremely awkward, likely due to him still experiencing culture shock. Despite those, he is also incredibly intelligent and when fully concentrated on something, can show off his extreme competence.

(If you're wondering what happened to his finger, his clumsiness has him lose those a lot, but he can quickly regrow missing bits if he needs to. Axolotl's can do that, y'know :3)
